One year ago I applied for a Grant for the Web. Intended to push forward Web Monetization as a standard, Grant for the Web has allowed my team at Understory to prototype our vision of a decentralized web built around Personal Online Datastores where creators are can get paid for their labor without relying on centralized third parties or walled gardens.
